Manolo Fortich Launches 28th Round of RQPS in Barangay Santiago
Hundreds of Residents Benefit from Free Government Services
The Local Government of Manolo Fortich officially launched the 28th round of the Real Quality Public Service (RQPS) program in Barangay Santiago on June 5, 2026, bringing essential government services closer to the community. Hundreds of residents benefited from the initiative, which continues to provide accessible and quality services directly to Manoleños through a one-stop-shop approach.
Free Medicines and Agricultural Support Benefit Residents
Among the beneficiaries was Anne Jean Berial, a resident of Purok 4, who shared how the program has helped her family, particularly through the provision of free medicines. “Nalipay kay naa RQPS nga makatabang sa mga tao diri kay lisod na baya ang mga tambal karun paliton.” In addition to receiving medicines, Berial also availed herself of free vegetable seeds from the Municipal Agriculture Office, which she plans to plant in their backyard to help provide food for her family. Army Personnel Extend Community Services
Personnel from the 8th Infantry Brigade (8IB) of the Philippine Army also participated in the activity by providing free haircut services to residents. According to 2Lt. Ronna Fe L. Artiaga (AGS), PA, Civil-Military Operations Officer of the 8IB, maintaining peace and security remains essential to community development.
“Wala man gyuy development ang lugar kung dunay kagubot, so ang among presensiya nagpamatood nga safe na ang atong lugar karun ug wala na’y threat sa ubang grupo," she said.
She emphasized that the presence of government and security forces in the community serves as an assurance that peace and order are being maintained, allowing development initiatives to thrive.
Bringing Services Closer to Every Manoleño
Through the RQPS program, the Local Government of Manolo Fortich continues its commitment to delivering free and accessible services directly to communities.
The initiative reflects the municipality's ongoing efforts to ensure that residents, especially those in barangays, can conveniently access government programs and services that contribute to their health, livelihood, and overall well-being.
