Functional Statement

MANDATE

Responsible for the provision and delivery of health services as well as the regulation of providers for health goods and services.

Formulate and implement policies, programs and projects to promote health services of the people in the community.

Promotes, protects and maintain the health of the community.

 

PLANS AND PROGRAMS IMPLEMENTATION DIVISION

Prepares and recommend plans, design and budget for the implementation of various DOH programs and projects.  Coordinate and monitor implemented programs in coordination with other concerned agencies.

 

MATERNAL AND NEONATAL DELIVERY SERVICES DIVISION

Provide accessibility to quality safe and maternal delivery and neonatal care. Responsible in the rapid assessment, managing priority emergencies and effectively refer to a higher health facility.

 

MUNICIPAL EPIDEMIOLOGY SURVEILLANCE UNIT DIVISION

Organize system data collection, prepare, interpret and periodically update notifiable and reportable epidemiologic data. Plan and propose budget allocation and implement preliminary control measures for any outbreak and health emergencies. 

 

LABORATORY SERVICES DIVISION

Provide accessible and affordable primary laboratory services to public promoting, preserving and sustaining life by its quality service.

 

PHARMACY SERVICES DIVISION

Plans and propose budget allocation for the facility. Allocates medicines and medical supplies for the various implemented DOH programs.

 

ADMINISTRATIVE DIVISION

Maintain all medical records with the principle of efficient record management. Protects and safe keeps of data/records for easy retrieval.  Prepares, submit and comply licensing requirements, renewal and deficiencies of the health facility. Provide transportation services of various critical emergency care and interventions for definitive care. Manages and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility through daily disinfection and waste management.
