The 28 lovely candidates of Miss Philippines Earth showcased the locally made banog inspired wings during the municipal costume contest of the Binibining Manolo Fortich on April 18, 2023 at the Municipal Gymnasium.
The municipality of Manolo Fortich facilitated the Banog Banog fashion show in line with the Banog Banog. The event aims to showcase the beauty of the Binibinis in the municipality as well as exhibit the talent and skills of our local designers behind their costumes. The event was made even grander as it featured the 28 Miss Philippines Earth candidates who wore locally designed Banog inspired wings. All the proceeds from the event will be given to the Philippine Eagle Foundation.
Hosted by Mr. Elton Ladd, the Manoleños as well as the facebook live viewers witnessed the exquisite beauty of the candidates as they graced the stage wearing the awe-inspiring masterpieces of our local designers. Our Binibining Manolo Fortich were the first ones to adorn the stage wearing costumes representing each barangay. Then followed by the 12 stunning Miss Philippines Earth candidates in couture creations from the Oro Fest Designers Guild. The last part of the event was the exhibition of the Banog inspired wings worn by 22 Miss Philippines Earth candidates designed by locals from the 22 barangays of Manolo Fortich. The winners of the Banog inspired wings were; barangays Lingion and Diclum as 3rd place which was worn by Miss Philippines Earth, Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental candidate.
