GSIS Malaybalay Branch extends service desk to Manolo Fortich,

holds GSIS Caravan

Personnels from the Government Service Insurance System Malaybalay Branch Office visited Manolo Fortich to extend their services right at the municipality's vicinity on October 26, 2023.

The one-day service desk catered the various services of the agency which includes UMID Enrolment/Releasing, Claims Receiving, APIR (Annual Pensioners' Information Revalidation), Inquiries, Checks Releasing, G-Touch Enrolment, as well as Pre-Retirement Seminar which was held at the New Government Center Conference Room, and the New Employees Orientation held at the ABC Hall.

Engr. Troy L. Palermo, GSIS Officer-in-Charge Malaybalay Branch, explained the reason behind the pursuance of the event in the municipality. “Actually, GSIS branch offices are holding every month services desk nga dubbed nato as GSIS on the go. Now, ang tumong namo ani is just bringing closer the services to our stakeholders sa different municipalities.” Moreover, he also thanked the Municipal Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño for the accommodation of the services. “And we are very thankful kaayo sa administration ni Mayor Quiño for being a gracious host jud kaayo, providing us with the support, the space, tanan mga connectivity, sa snacks ug sa lunch.”

One of the clients of the GSIS Caravan was Genevieve Marie E. Bolanio, an instructor from Northern Bukidnon State College, who availed the E-Card enrolment. She shared her experiences in availing the services. “First, I am very much thankful sa services kay the access is very easy most especially us nga working. We do not need to go to Cagayan de Oro or in Malaybalay for this since we are also busy. It is also time-saving.”

This is the very first GSIS on the go service desk activity held in the municipality. The activity also aims to educate and re-echo the members regarding the other benefits they have aside from loan claims and to inform them regarding the proceeds of their contributions. The service desk is open to all government agency members.
