KALIPI-WOMEN members take advantage of free

2nd Municipal Livelihood Summit Chicken Egg Production Training

Vanessa Amor Ocero, 35 years old and a single parent member of the KALIPI oranization at Barangay Maluko, answered the call for participation on the 2nd Municipal Livelihood Summit Chicken Egg Production Training held last November 22, 2023.

This was participated by 24 participants from the different barangays in the municipality. According to her, she and her co-members joined to learn how to raise chicken for egg production for their upcoming livelihood project.“Niapil ko ani nga summit kay naa pod mi umabutay nga chicken egg production sa amoang barangay. So kami na lang jud ni volunteer nga muapil jud mi ani. So nagpasalamat ko ani og dako sa gipahigayon nga 2nd Livelihood Summit kay nakaapil pod mi ani nga mga training. Dako kaayo nig makatabang sa amoa.”

The said training was facilitated by the Municipal Agriculture Office with Dr. Richard E. Duites, Municipal Veterinarian who stood as the resource speaker. Partner corporations such as Global Agro Milling Corporation, Feedwin Corporation, and Feed Express were also present during the activity. Municipal Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño also visited the event among other 2nd Livelihood Summit training.

The participants also received kits from Feed Express which were recived wholeheartedly by the participants.
