PROVINCE OF BUKIDNON RECOGNIZES MANOLO FORTICH AMONG THE SGLG AWARDEES OF 2023

Manolo Fortich outstands in the Province of Bukidnon

The Municipality of Manolo Fortich is continually commended for its triumph in bagging The Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) award of 2023, as Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño attended the recognition ceremony of the Provincial Government of Bukidnon during its Monthly Flag Ceremony and Convocation on Monday morning, February 7, 2024.

The recognition ceremony, which commenced at the Kaamulan Folk Arts Theatre, Kaamulan Grounds, Malaybalay City, was also attended by the mayors and representatives of the other 4 municipalities of Bukidnon, namely Kibawe, San Fernando, Damulog, Maramag, and Manolo Fortich.

These municipalities, including Manolo Fortich represented by Mayor Quiño, each received framed certificates as a form of recognition for their good performance in local governance. Such an award to Manolo Fortich was made possible through the resolution formulated by the Office of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bukidnon, headed by Vice Governor Clive D. Quiño.

Resolution No. 2023-2667, authored by Board Member of the 3rd Legislative District, Minerva C. Casinabe, reads, “A resolution of profound commendation to the Municipality of Manolo Fortich, Province of Bukidnon, for being awarded the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) CY 2023 by the Council of Good Local Governance under the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).”

Provincial Governor Rogelio Neil "Oneil" P. Roque and Vice Governor Clive D. Quiño, along with the board members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, led the presentation of the certificates.

Moreover, Mayor Quiño extends his warmest gratitude to the Province of Bukidnon and also commends the performance of the local government of Manolo Fortich, “Akong pasalamat sa provincial office hilabi na kang Governor Oneil Roque ug sa mga board members nga ni-sponsor sila sa recognition sa atong national award sa SGLG. Nakita sa probinsya ang atong effort sa pagsunod sa mandate sa DILG. So, salamat kaayo sa ilang suporta nga gi-recognize nila ang atong pagpaningkamot kay dili tanan LGU ang nakacomply. We are only 5 municipalities nga nahimong national awardee. We are proud of it nga ang atong local governance is compliant to the mandate of DILG!”
