Dili pud ni ti-aw kay 200 kapin nga paresan ang gusto ma legal isip usa ka pamilya.”, Mayor Quiño added.

The civil wedding ceremony started with a recognition and wedding march of all the registered couples from the Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) of the Local Government Unit of Manolo Fortich, who also served as the main office who led the ceremony and event with Julius W. Paurillo as the event host.

Quiño.

To declare each marriage as official and irrevocable through registration, personnel from the Philippines Statistics Authority (PSA) Provincial Statistics Office - Bukidnon were also present at the ceremony with their mobile registration booth, in close partnership with LCRO.

“Dako among pasalamat if mag-conduct ang atong LGUs og Kasalan ng Bayan. Through ani nga programs, matabangan among office sa registration. Dapat gyud recorded ang atong birth and marriages. So karon, legally and officially minyo na gyud mo. I know naa nay uban sa inyo nga naa nay mga anak, so ma-register na gyud ninyo ang apelyido sa inyong bana,” says Chief Statistical Specialist of PSA Bukidnon Maria Evangeline N. Non.

Aside from the traditional practices of exchange, the slicing of wedding cakes and wine toasting were also done by the couples which was also led by Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño. To further extend the gifts of LGU Manolo Fortich to its ordained couples, a raffle was conducted after the ceremony in which 10 Rice Cookers and 8 Electric Kettles were given to the named winning couples.

In her gratitude of thanks, Eugenia Pacyao from Barangay Alae who is among the newly wedded wife of the ceremony relays her deep appreciation to the LGU of Manolo Fortich, “Gikasal nako kaniadtong 1988, pero nahibaw-an nako nga wala diay siya ma-register 2014 na.
