TESDA RELEASES TOOLKITS TO COMPLETERS OF ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE NCII TRAINING

Toolkits for EIM NCII Trainees

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) released toolkits to 50 beneficiaries on March 19, 2024, at the Technical Skills and Development Center (TSDC), Norminco Compound, Tankulan, Manolo Fortich.

The 50 recipients are scholars from TESDA's Special Training for Employment Program (STEP), which is funded by Bukidnon 1st District Representative Jose Manuel F. Alba. The Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) Training accommodates 2 batches of scholars, with each batch consisting of 25 trainees. Training for the first batch took place from September 4 to October 6, 2023, and for the second batch, it was held from October 19 to November 28, 2023.

The toolkit includes one cordless drill, two Lithium-Ion batteries, one cord, and a hard case for storage. When it comes to the process of installation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment, the tool given to the beneficiaries is essential. Additionally, they were provided with an allowance during their training, and upon completion, they were presented with the National Certificate II for EIM, granting them the authorization to carry out such duties in facilities/establishments with moderate to complex electrical systems.

“I hope maka tabang ni sa inyo, ug dili ni ninyo ibaligya ha? Kay ang purpose ani matabangan mo sa inyong employment.”, PESO staff Joanne Abella delivered the message to the scholars on behalf of PESO Manager Roger Molina. TESDA Bukidnon representative Norniza Maruhom delivered the same message, encouraging beneficiaries to use the toolkit to generate income rather than selling it.

“Gusto ko magpasalamat sa TESDA ug kang Congressman Joeman Alba nga naghatag aning tools ug katong sa EIM training kay dako kaayo nig tabang sa akoa nga ma hone akoang skills ug eventually maka income ani.”, stated Aliv Chevfreud Pausanos, a trainee in the EIM NCII, from Barangay Tankulan.

The Local Government of Manolo Fortich, under the administration of municipal mayor Rogelio N. Quiño, actively supports programs, especially livelihood/employment programs, for our residents to capacitate them in generating their income and fostering their independence.
