Manolo Fortich celebrated its 107th Charter Day and 5th Banog-Banog Festival at the Manolo Fortich Gymnasium in Tankulan Manolo Fortich on April 4, 2024. Honorable Mayor Rogelio Quiño kicked off the celebration with his opening message, acknowledging the presence of the 22 punong barangays, employees, councilors, and stakeholders of the municipality. “Sama sa Agila ang lungsod sa Manolo Fortich adunay panlantaw, panlantaw nato nga hatagan og maaayong edukasyon ang atong mga kabataan,” Quiño said, emphasizing his flagship program, “Education for All”.
“Bag-ohon nato ang inisyatibo tungod kay ang Manolo Fortich matud pa nato, cannot remain stagnant,” he added. Manolo Fortich, as a leading municipality in the province of Bukidnon, continues to preserve and cultivate its eco-tourism and business mechanisms as well.
Secretary Ernesto V. Perez, the Director-General of the Anti-Red Tape Authority, gave his words of appreciation and congratulated Manolo Fortich for celebrating its 107th Charter Day and 5th Banog-Banog Festival. “This festival, 107th Anniversary, is a testament to your rich culture and heritage.”
In addition, Secretary Perez highlighted the achievement of Manolo Fortich in complying with the E-BOSS. “To witness yet another achievement of Manolo Fortich, which we will all witness, the recognition of your compliance with the Ease of Doing Business Law and that is the setting up and operationalization of the Business or Electronic Business One-Stop Shop.”
E-BOSS is an online portal that allows Manoleños to access necessary services and information for convenient and hassle-free business registration, including online payment for electronic insurance and submission of applications.
The month-long celebration of the LGU with the lined-up activities is a living testament to the municipality’s dedication, hard work, and perseverance.
