The groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a road in a certain zone in Barangay Sto. Niño, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, commenced on Tuesday, April 16, with the participation of Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño, 1st Congressional Representative Jose Manuel Alba, Engr. Ronaldo Pahang, Barangay Captain Federico Agbay, and the rest of the members of the barangay council.
The project is funded by Congressman Alba with an amount of over P4-Million. The construction of the 290 linear meter road will start from the crossing road at Purok 3 to Purok 4 of the said barangay.
Sto. Niño Punong Barangay Frederico Agbay is thankful to Congressman Alba, and to DPWH for their help and support. "Sa akong mga kauban nga officials sa barangay council, nagapasalamat gyud kami sa atong congressman kay iyang gipaminaw ug iyang gihatag kanato ang atong panginahanlan. Ug ang pagpasalamat usab nato sa mag-implement karon sa atong project mao ang DPWH. In behalf sa Barangay Sto. Niño, kaming tanan nagpasalamat kaninyo," stated Agbay.
On the other hand, Simplicio Mangubat, a resident of Barangay Sto. Niño since 1968, expressed his gratitude for the said construction of the concrete road. "Malipay gyud mi kay sa kadugayon namo diri karon pa gyud tingali mi makatagamtam og maayo ning dalan," Mangubat said.
With the groundbreaking of the road construction, the future of agri and eco-tourism growth in Barangay Sto. Niño and to the Municipality of Manolo Fortich is about to take a major leap forward.
