2nd Municipal Development Council Meeting addresses CDP and CLUP projects
Municipal Development Plans for 2023-2028
Held in the Municipal Conference Room on February 13, 2023, the 2nd Municipal Development Council was conducted which was attended by Municipal Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño, together with members of the Sangguniang Bayan headed by Vice Mayor Reynaldo L. Bagayas Jr., as well as the Barangay Captains from the 22 barangays in the municipality, and the heads of offices of the LGU Manolo Fortich headed by Municipal Administrator Engr. Joie Caesar M. Gaid.
The meeting addressed the priority projects in the municipality that were included in the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) for the year 2023-2028 as part of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) during the year 2021-2023. The committee outlined the projects in transparency underlining its importance to the people within a period of six years and to be cognizant on the budget by how much it is and where it was sourced.
The committee further discussed the LGU-initiated rehabilitation plan for the reconstruction of the Mangima Spring Resort. The plan included construction of hotel rooms, function room, and other amenities such as the kiddie pool.
The committee also approved the Supplemental Annual Investment Program for this year, which includes the development of the Guilang-guilang Water System, that was allocated a budget of 6.6 Million pesos.
