DATU ALEX D. PAYANGGA TOOK OATH OF OFFICE AS MUNICIPAL IPMR OF MANOLO FORTICH

Full representation of the IPs of Manolo Fortich is made possible with the recent appoinment.

Datu Alex D. Payangga took his oath of office as the Municipal Indigenous People Mandatory Representative (IPMR) for the municipality of Manolo Fortich on April 12, 2023 at the Office of the Municipal Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño.

This is the second term of Datu Payangga who started his assignment in the year 2019 under the leadership of the former Mayor and now the Vice Governor of the Province of Bukidnon Hon. Clive D. Quiño. He was subjected again to the selection process with the Sangguniang Bayan members, presentation and ratification of the documents and the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) validation with the aid of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).

The IPMR shall serve as the voice of the Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/Ips) in the municipality. “Salamat kaayo sa katawhang lumad dinhi sa atong lungsod sa Manolo Fortich nga naghatag mo og dugang pagsalig kanako isip inyong representative ngadto sa Sangguniang Bayan sa atong lungsod sa Manolo Fortich. Hinaut unta nga Magbabaya dumahan ki, buligan ki daw ulin-ulinan ki para pagpadayon pagpangatungdanan ta, ta banwa ta Manolo Fortich.” Datu Payangga expressed after the oath.
