38 LGU Manolo Fortich employees joins Public Service Continuity Planning Course

Public service shall never stop amidst calamities.

38 employees graduated from a four-day technical training of Public Service Continuity Planning. Majority of the participants are heads of office and division chiefs. This event was organized by the Office of Civil Defense 10 to create and strategies for the continuity of providing quality service to the people in case the municipality will experience tragedy or calamities.

"Thank you for taking this course, the Public Service Continuity Planning. This course is mandated to agencies for their employees be given the essential principles of public service continuity planning. The main reason why our government has this in our respective offices is that in times of calamities, the public expects us to do our job continuously and that is the reason why the Office of Civil Defense has this in our curriculum. It is expected that in times of calamities, kung kaya pa -- government service must continue to be there for our our communities and that is why there is Public Service Continuity Planning." said Office of the Civil Defense Regional Director and Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council NorMin Chairperson Antonio B. Sugarol during the graduation ceremony.
