GAGAW TA MANOLO FORTICH COMMENCES WITH AWARDING CEREMONY AND CULMINATING PROGRAM

Love Manolo Fortich

To recognize every unique talent and capacity of the participating Manoleños in this year’s first ever Gagaw ta Manolo Fortich or Love Manolo Fortich, Municipal Tourism Week, the LGU of Manolo Fortich through the Municipal Tourism Office concludes the celebration with an awarding ceremony and culmination program at the Municipal Gymnasium, Barangay Tankulan, Manolo Fortich on September 30, 2023.

As an initiative of Sangguniang Bayan Member and Committee Chairperson on Tourism, Councilor Rina E. Quiño, together with Tourism Officer, Jixon Cloyd Abanes, awards the winners of the various contests of Gagaw ta Manolo Fortich such as Tatak Manolo Fortich, Travel Vlog, Most Compliant Tourism Establishment, Most Outstanding Tourism Champ, Best Booth Winner of the Food, Culture, and Arts Exhibit, and Daes ta Manolo Fortich.

Awarded as first place for his Travel Vlog, Leo Improgo Tan III talks about the fulfillment in being able to share to the public about the tourist areas of Manolo Fortich, “I feel happy and delighted, I just want people to feel the warmth and joy that Manoleños project in everyday life. It is our hospitality and richness that our municipality can offer to tourists. The contest is one great avenue to project Manolo Fortich in different perspectives. To let people see what Manolo Fortich is.”

The Gagaw ta Manolo Fortich, Municipal Tourism Week Celebration is only the first of the many celebrations to be conducted every year, and is bound to be an annual event. It is something that is meant to be expected for its primary purpose of promoting the tourism of Manolo Fortich through celebrating its local products such as food, culture, art, talents, tourist areas, and most especially, the people who bring life to the municipality.
