LGU Manolo Fortich welcomes North Eastern Mindanano State University Guests

Showcase of Manolo Fortich hospitality

A total of 115 guests from North Eastern Mindanano State University of Tandag City, Surigao del Sur were welcomed by the Local Government Unit of Manolo Fortich during their courtesy call for the 3 days and 2 nights team building and learning huddles on December 14, 2023.

The welcoming activity was facilitated by the Municipal Tourism Office headed by Tourism Officer Jixon Cloyd Abanes who embraced the task of introducing the tourism and ecological activities of the Local Government of Manolo Fortich. The Chairperson of the Tourism Committee, Councilor Rina E. Quiño was also present to welcome the guests.

The guests who journeyed all the way from Surigao del Sur was headed by Dr. Camilo Malong, Director for Finance who, along with the batch 1 of the non-teaching personnel from NEMSU, shall partake in their Professional Skills Training at Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. Dr. Malong expressed his thanks for the warm welcome and also made sure to share their adherence to the municipality’s strong drive to protect and preserve the environment. “Thank you, Sir Kokoy for the accommodation and this type of orientation that we have now. We are strictly following the rules of the Municipality of Manolo Fortich regarding environmental protection.”

Tourism Officer Abanes accompanied the guests for a short stop at the Tourist Rest Area after the short program.
