MISO AND LCR HIGHLIGHTS 2023 ACCOMPLISHMENTS DURING MONDAY CONVOCATION

Monday Convocation

As the second month of 2024 approaches, the Local Government of Manolo Fortich conducted its first Monday convocation on February 5, 2024, at the New Government Center, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. Sponsored by the Management Information Systems Office (MISO) and the Local Civil Registry (LCR), the two offices deliberately presented their respective accomplishment reports for the year 2023.

MISO Officer-in-Charge Junel Jig G. Jimenez was the first to outline their milestones for the year 2023. MISO developed and improved the online services provided by the LGU Manolo Fortich Website, allowing Manoleños to enroll in a Real Property Tax (RPT) account and apply for a renewal of their business permits. This system also caters to new applications, enabling online payments for RPT and business taxes.

Additionally, employees can now inquire about their payslips, travel orders, and Daily Time Record (DTR) online. Moreover, employees with administrative work are provided with a government mail exclusively for work-related use. Jimenez also highlighted MISO's successful installation of the system and network used in the recently concluded Business-One-Stop-Shop (BOSS) 2024.

Following this, Municipal Civil Registry Officer Atty. Eljun R. Cubero presented the responsibilities of the LCR and outlined their 2023 accomplishments. Among these achievements were the preparation, registration, and receipt of 665 death certificates and the registration of 2,477 birth certificates for the year 2023. Additionally, a total of 540 marriages were registered, with 323 marriage applications prepared. The Kasalan ng Bayan on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2023, legally united 48 couples. The initiation of Comprehensive Linkages Integrated Via Encoding data indexing, embedding, and scanning (CLIVE) was also part of the LCR’s 2023 accomplishments.

During the convocation, Sangguniang Bayan members, led by Vice Mayor Reynaldo Bagayas Jr., were present. Vice Mayor Bagayas complimented both offices and offered insightful suggestions for more accomplishments in 2024. “Mag archive na gyud ang municipality, naay archive sa LCR, sa MASSO, ug all other offices. Aron mas safe ang documents, ma-protect gyud siya.” stated Vice Mayor Bagayas.

Furthermore, immediately following the flag-raising ceremony that day, the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) presented the Loyalty Award to four LGU employees: Alfredo M. Magabang from the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources (MENRO) for his 35 years of service, Edgar G. Aparici from Motorpool for his 15 years of service, Motorpool OIC Allan E. Manalo for his 15 years of service, and Carmelita A. Amistoso from the Municipal Health Office (MHO) for her 10 years of service.
