BINIBINING MANOLO FORTICH 2024: GENECEL CABULAY REIGNS AS THE NEW QUEEN

5th Banong Banog Festival Celebration

The charming municipality of Manolo Fortich proudly welcomed its new queen during the Binibining Manolo Fortich Coronation Night held at the Manolo Fortich Gymnasium on April 20, 2024. Thirteen dazzling candidates from various barangays showcased their elegance and intelligence, vying for the coveted crown.

Hosting the event were the dynamic duo of Mr. Elton Ladd and Ms. Nicole Abas Datayan, alongside the stunning courtside host, former Bb. Manolo Fortich 2022, Miss Maeville Mendoza. The success of the event can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of the organizers, spearheaded by Committee Chairperson on Tourism Councilor Rina E. Quiño and Pageant Director Rowell O. Lipon of Royale Creatives Production.

The winners of Binibining Manolo Fortich 2024 were announced, with Julianne Claire dela Torre representing Barangay Mantibugao and Minsuro as the 2nd runner-up, Jecel Jean Esmao representing Barangay Dicklum and Sto. Niño as the 1st runner-up, and the coveted Binibining Manolo Fortich title being awarded to Genecel Cabulay, representing Barangay Mambatangan.

The selection of the next queen was made possible by the esteemed panel of judges, including Engr. Nazareth Tabudlong, Grid Manager of HEDCOR Buk, Inc.; Ms. Marie Elaine S. Unchuan, Regional Director of the Department of Tourism Region X; Ms. Jimema Tempra, Miss Philippines Earth-Air 2022; Ms. Tracy Maureen Perez, Miss World Philippines 2021; Ms. Rachel Anne Valera, Miss World Philippines-Bukidnon 2021; and Mr. Lorenzo Dinlayan III, Director of the Student Leadership and Development Unit at Bukidnon State University.

The event received strong support from the Municipal Mayor, Honorable Rogelio N. Quiño, and his wife Tessie Quiño, along with the Sangguniang Bayan Members and the Local Government Unit of Manolo Fortich. Former title holders of Bb. Manolo Fortich also graced the occasion, adding prestige to the event.
