MANOLO FORTICH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE STRENGTHENS ENTREPRENEURS’ BONDS THROUGH 4TH GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Flying High Beyond Challenges and Adversity

Members of the Manolo Fortich Chamber of Commerce and Industries Incorporated (MFCCII) conducted a discussion on recent accomplishments, business forum, and election of Board of Directors on its 4th Annual General Assembly at the Bamboo Pavilion, Barangay Damilag, Manolo Fortich last Thursday, May 23, 2024.

As the chamber that aims to solidify and support business establishments in Manolo Fortich, this year’s 4th General Assembly embodies the theme, “Manolo Fortich Chamber: Flying high beyond challenges and adversity.” It continually channels the projects and activities benefitting the entrepreneurs and the municipality itself starting from the year of its establishment last 2018.

In his welcoming remarks, MFCCII President Jonathan Ferdinand G. Miano shares how the gathering can formulate solutions against challenges and adversities caused by global wars that can possibly affect even the most local business establishments in Manolo Fortich, “In today’s General Assembly, we would like to see where we are now. Nasaan na ba ngayon ang Manolo Fortich in terms of business? And with the impact of the ongoing war, how can we prepare? What is the plan? How do we plan? I hope our businesses will soon answer these questions so that we can prepare kung paano ang negosyo natin. We will promote awareness and improve membership.”

Miano also presented the President’s Report on the accomplishments of the chamber. Among the highlights is, “Pasiyu Ki”, the 1st Agri-Tourism Fair in Manolo Fortich which also hosted the Manolo Fortich Agri-Tourism Vlogger Ako Tour with CDO Bloggers Network and the Culmination Concert with Viva Artists as performers from February 22 to 24, 2024.

The assembly also identified its new set of Board of Directors through election with the following results:

  5. Mr. Alvin B. Cempron

  8. Mr. Angelo P. Obrero
  9. Mr. Crispulo G. Vidad
  10. Ms. Delilah D. Luzon
  11. Mr. Harvey A. Tiongson

Municipal Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño is also an invited attendee of the assembly who received a plaque of appreciation for his unwavering support of the chamber. In his inspirational message, Mayor Quiño extends his gratitude to the efforts of the chamber in alleviating the businesses and livelihood of Manolo Fortich, “Salamat kaayo sa Manolo Fortich Chamber of Commerce sa inyong pag-atiman sa mga negosyo diri sa Manolo Fortich. Hopefully, mulambo ug daghan pa’g matabangan na mga negosyo, daghan pa muabot nga mga negosyante sa Manolo Fortich kay malipay sad ta isip mayor nga nabibo ang Manolo Fortich tungod sa mga negosyante.”

Also present in the assembly is 1st District Representative Hon. Jose Manuel F. Alba and Manolo Fortich Sangguniang Bayan Member and Committee on Trade, Commerce, and Cooperative Chairperson Coun. Christy L. Salabe.
