To further strengthen livelihood and healthcare institutions in Manolo Fortich, Hedcor Inc.’s partnership with the LGU of Manolo Fortich remains productive. A 1.5 million peso royalty share, along with various projects and assistance, was received on June 20, 2024, during a turnover ceremony held at the Municipal Lobby, New Government Center, Manolo Fortich.
The 1.5 million pesos worth of royalty or community share was received by the LGU of Manolo Fortich through a check, along with the 1.6 million pesos ER1-94 Fund. These funds served as financial benefits for Manolo Fortich from Hedcor Inc. for the period from July to December 2023. Both funds were turned over to the Municipal Treasurer’s Office, headed by Municipal Treasurer Zoraida Lozada.
Additionally, 25 solar-powered streetlights were turned over by Hedcor Inc. to the highways of Barangay Tankulan. Now, the barangay has a total of 50 solar-powered streetlights, including the first batch of turnover, which was also from Hedcor Inc. Also, part of the turnover were new sets of equipment for various livelihood and skills training programs at the Manolo Fortich Technical Skills and Development Center (MF TSDC).
To prioritize healthcare in Manolo Fortich, medical supplies and medicines were also turned over to the Botika ng Bayan of LGU Manolo Fortich. Medicines such as Ambroxol, Carbosisteine, and Amoxicillin are now newly stocked for future use during public services like the regular Real Quality Public Service (RQPS) on Fridays.
Furthermore, External Relations Manager of Hedcor Inc., David Tacder, emphasized during his presentation of the funds how Hedcor views its partnership with the LGU of Manolo Fortich as significant for the municipality's development. “Hedcor has always perceived Manolo Fortich as our key and strong partner. We would like to extend our appreciation to the municipality and to the stakeholders. We hope this will continue, and we look forward to more partnerships and more projects with the municipality.”
In response, Municipal Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the partnership between Hedcor Inc. and the local government unit, which aims to maximize services for the people of Manolo Fortich. “Salamat kaayo Hedcor Family because the 1.5 million is a big amount nga madawat sa LGU. Salamat pud sa inyong tabang sa Manolo Fortich. Dako namo na nga damgo nga ang usa ka kumpanya nga ang iyang i-invest sa atong lungsod nakatabang sa atong mga kaigsoonan hilabina kadtong mga nanginahanglan.”
