LGU MANOLO FORTICH RECOGNIZES BATCH 2024 MANOLEÑO GRADUATES WITH LATIN HONORS

Recognition and Commendation of Manoleño Graduates with Latin Honors

The Local Government of Manolo Fortich, led by Municipal Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño, felicitated 96 Manoleños who graduated with Latin honors in July 2024 during the bi-monthly flag-raising ceremony on August 5, 2024, at the Municipal Grounds, Calanawan, Barangay Tankulan. Mayor Quiño's "Education for All" is the number one priority in his 10-Point Agenda. Recognizing students' hard work can motivate future graduates to excel as individuals.

The Sangguniang Bayan, headed by Vice Mayor Reynaldo L. Bagayas Jr., proudly presented them with a furnished resolution, authored by Councilor Rina E. Quiño, as a token of commendation and recognition for their dedication during their college years. Latin honors include the Summa Cum Laude, followed by the Magna Cum Laude, and then the Cum Laude. Along with the furnished resolution, they will also receive a cash incentive from the Vice Governor’s office.

Karl Nathaniel Laquia of Barangay Agusan Canyon graduated from Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering, earning the title Magna Cum Laude. "Firstly, I would like to thank God for guiding me throughout this journey. The journey was not easy, but with His guidance, I was able to graduate, and as a bonus, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from XU. And the municipality of Manolo Fortich, this is where I was born and has been the training ground and, of course, the very core of my journey.” He also expressed his deep gratitude towards the people whose support allowed him to flourish in his academics and extended his thanks to Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño for always supporting the students of Manolo Fortich.
