MANOLO FORTICH RANKS AMONG THE TOP COMPETITIVE MUNICIPALITIES IN NORTHERN MINDANAO

Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) Awarding

Manolo Fortich has ranked 2nd among the 83 municipalities and cities in Region 10, Northern Mindanao, following Maramag, Bukidnon, which took 1st place. The ranking recognizes the exemplary achievements of local government units across the Philippines, highlighting their efforts and initiatives in promoting economic dynamism, government efficiency, infrastructure development, resilience, and innovation.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) conducted the Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) awarding ceremony, which coincided with the conclusion of the Creative Cities and Municipalities Congress (CCMC) at the Fiesta Pavilion of The Manila Hotel on August 23, 2024.

The annual CMCI awarding ceremony acknowledges cities and municipalities for their efforts to improve competitiveness. With a score of 35.03, Manolo Fortich, under the strong leadership of Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño, demonstrates its commitment to sustainable, relevant, and feasible initiatives that prioritize the well-being of its residents.
