MANOLO FORTICH LDRRMO CONDUCTS ORIENTATION ON SAFETY AND DISASTER PREPAREDNESS
Safety and Disaster Preparedness Orientation to 31 Disaster Risk Reduction Management Focal Persons in different LGU offices last July 14, 2022 at the LDRMMO Conference Room.
The Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Manolo Fortich headed by Officer-In-Charge Ryan Ruiz conducted a Safety and Disaster Preparedness Orientation to 31 Disaster Risk Reduction Management Focal Persons in different LGU offices last July 14, 2022 at the LDRMMO Conference Room.
The orientation focused in creating a disaster resilient community within the Local Government Unit and equipped the participants to function as Safety and Disaster Preparedness Focal Person in their respective offices.
During the orientation, participants were trained to identify office hazards and how to avoid office accidents. They were also oriented on the Basic CPR and Life Support.
Among the resource persons were officers from the local Bureau of Fire Protection and Philippine National Police who conducted orientation and training of Fire Safety and Mitigation, and Office Safety and Security.
The actual and hands-on training is yet to be scheduled.
