LGU MANOLO FORTICH HOSTS FIRST MONDAY FLAG RAISING OF 2025 COMMENDING AWARDEES

1st Monday Flag Raising of 2025

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Manolo Fortich proudly hosted the first Flag Raising Ceremony of the year on January 13, 2025, at the Municipal Grounds of the New Government Center in Barangay Tankulan, Manolo Fortich. The event highlighted the commendable achievements of its employees and constituents, as well as the turnover of agricultural equipment from the Department of Agriculture Region 10 (DA-10).

During the ceremony, the Sangguniang Bayan recognized several awardees through the issuance of resolutions, including:

1. The Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) – Recognized as a Top 5 Finalist among municipalities promoting Ease of Doing Business and Digital Innovation. This distinction was awarded during the NABPLO Gawad Luntian Awards at the 7th NABPLO National Convention held on October 16, 2024, at the Gallio Events Hall, Parañaque.

2. Municipal Nutrition Action Officer (MNAO) Rikkie Mae B. Lucero – Honored as the 2023 National Outstanding Municipal Nutrition Action Officer, earning a performance rating of 92.0 during the MELLPI Pro Validation Visit conducted by the National Nutrition Evaluation Team on September 10–12, 2024.

3. GAWAD SAKA Awardees – Recipients of the Provincial Agriculture Achievers Award 2024, presented on December 2, 2024, at the Kaamulan Open Theater, Malaybalay City. Awardees include:

- Lluna Jane B. Villarta of Barangay Lunocan, recognized as an Outstanding Coconut Farmer.

- The Mahistrado Family of Alomah’s Place and Nature Farm in Barangay Dahilayan, recognized as an Outstanding Farm Family.

4. 4-H Club Members of Manolo Fortich – Celebrated for their accomplishments in the 4-H Club Contest during the 4-H Club Provincial Congress on November 29, 2024:

- Emmanuel Tocmohan: Champion in Poster Making.

- Christian Mae Tacay: 1st Runner-Up in Agri Himig.

- Jolina Pinohon, Reyjohn Sumihay, and Allysa Mae Pading: 1st Runner-Up in Trashformation.

- Vince Josel and Bernadette Baston: 2nd Runner-Up in Promotional Video Making.

On the same day, Municipal Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño, Vice Mayor Reynaldo L. Bagayas Jr., the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, and Municipal Agriculturist Gemma G. Cania presided over the turnover of a Corn Combine Harvester valued at ₱2.2 million. The equipment, provided by the Department of Agriculture Region 10, was handed over to the BLISS Lingion Multipurpose Cooperative, represented by Chairperson Dante M. Dosaysco.

Municipal Local Government Operations Officer Christie C. Cubero also presented the 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance plaque to the LGU of Manolo Fortich. The recognition was received by Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño, Vice Mayor Reynaldo L. Bagayas Jr., and the Sangguniang Bayan members.
