With 17 years of service and counting, Real Quality Public Service celebrated its 24th round of providing free services to the people of Barangay Dicklum on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Dicklum Covered Court. Retired General Brigadier Punong Barangay Reynaldo G. Mutiangpili led the Zumba Dance along with barangay volunteers and Sangguniang Bayan members. The event was also graced by Municipal Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño.
Barangay Captain Mutiangpili expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Local Government of Manolo Fortich for its active and sincere service throughout the municipality.
RQPS is a program headed by Municipal Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño, together with Sangguniang Bayan members and staff. Residents benefit from a range of quality and free services, including eye check-ups, consultations, tooth extractions, circumcisions, and animal vaccinations. Additionally, there were free antiparasitic treatments, massages, haircuts, and more.
On the other hand, 35-year-old Rosealina Janio, a resident of Purok-5 Barangay Dicklum, expressed her gratitude as one of the 50 residents who received free Dental Care Service. According to her, RQPS has been a tremendous help to her and her family for a long time now. “Dako kaayo og tabang ang RQPS tungod kay maka pa check-up mi, maka pangayo og tambal og makapa-ibot pod ko sa akoang ngipon karon. Salamat Mayor, Salamat RQPS,” stated Rosealina.
Many people attended the event at the covered court to avail of the services. Seven mothers also donated breast milk, receiving rice and canned goods in exchange. And RQPS wouldn't be complete without the delicious Tinolang Manok and Champorado prepared by Councilor Miguel D. Demata, also known as the "Lugaw King".
The smiles of the citizens reflect the unity and dedication of Manolo Fortich when it comes to public service. This year marks the 17th anniversary of Real Quality Public Service since the tenure of Municipal Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño in 2007.
