SILG Benjamin Abalos Jr Turnovers Level II Water System in Manolo Fortich
Turned-over Level II Water System by Secretary of the Interior and Local Government Benjamin Abalos, Jr last August 4, 2022 together with DILG 10 Regional Director Arnel M. Agabe, Bukidnon Vice Governor Clive D. Quiño, Manolo Fortich Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño and Vice Mayor Reynaldo L. Bagayas, Jr.
A total of 901 families from Barangays Dicklum and Tankulan of Manolo Fortich in Bukidnon will benefit the recently turned-over Level II Water System by Secretary of the Interior and Local Government Benjamin Abalos, Jr last August 4, 2022 together with DILG 10 Regional Director Arnel M. Agabe, Bukidnon Vice Governor Clive D. Quiño, Manolo Fortich Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño and Vice Mayor Reynaldo L. Bagayas, Jr.
The water system project worth P12-M was funded from the Sagana at Ligtas na Tubig para sa Lahat (SALINTUBIG) program which aims by the National Government to achieve universal and equitable access to safe and affordable water, santation, and hygiene facilities.
In his speech, SILG Abalos reiterated that the SALINTUBIG program is a manifestation that the National Government truly cares for its people in providing potable water supplies especially to poor and waterless communities nationwide.
“We can not win wars by guns, we win them by showing to the people that the government cares. Gawa, hindi salita.” Abalos said.
